We've had a lot of snow and some very cold temperatures recently(-39c over the weekend). But if it means you can take pictures like these then it's worth it!
Calgary is a great city...lively and vibrant with friendly people! We have perfect weather, with clearly defined seasons. Winter is winter and it's cold and snowy but there's always ski-ing! Summers are hot but with a delightful cool breeze off the Rocky Mountains. And almost every day the sky is big and blue.
