Went hiking this weekend..just three hours and a couple of thousand feet out of the city is scenery like this.

A classic view

I went out to the Rockies today - bit of a break from the city.
Here's the classic view of Lake Louise, not on the usual sunny day but on a cold, grey late October afternoon when the sky was spitting snow.

Time Out

Really the photo says it all.
I went hiking yesterday...out into the Rockies.
It was a glorious day and it was wonderful to leave the city behind for a while.
