Just outside Calgary I found this group of horses enjoying the cool breeze blowing off the Rockies on a hot, hot day.

Went to see a movie at one of Calgary's older movie theatres - The Plaza in Kensington.

Beautiful Bricks

Here's a close up of that kiln at Mount Pleasant. The colours in the old bricks are just beautiful.

Taking a break

There's lots to do in Calgary in the summer. These two ladies were taking a break from throwing pots at North Mount Pleasant art Centre. The beautiful coloured bricks in the background are one of the two kilns used for smoke firing at the studio there.
