What shall I buy?
This shot was taken at the Calgary Farmers Market in the northwest of the city. Situated in the old Curry Barracks the market is open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and offers a tempting array of fresh food as well as great meat and fish and many crafts. It's a fun place to grab a coffee and watch the world go past and ponder what to buy.

Looks to be a close replica to Vancouver's Granville Island. A wonderful place indeed, you are so lucky to have it near by. Is it open all year round.
ReplyDeleteYep! It's year round and it's great. Not quite as established or mature as Granville Island but VERY popular in Calgary!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great farmer's market ~ nothing like that around here in south Florida :-(
ReplyDeleteGreat shot. I love markets like this.
ReplyDeleteThis shot looks similar to several markets across Delhi
ReplyDeleteThanks for the birthday wish. :-)
Markets are noisy here and never relaxing, I say this with a bit of envy. Very nice shot.
ReplyDeleteI like this kind of places!
ReplyDeleteJust buy something you never ate or drank before. I bet there are hundreds of delicious things to eat and drink.
ReplyDeleteBuenos Aires Photo
Wish we had a place like that.
ReplyDeleteI would probably be overwhelmed with so many amazing choices!
ReplyDeleteI love markets. Sometimes in a foreign town, I find out where the market is and check it out. Thanks for giving us a glimpse of the one in Calgary.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great place to have some fun.
ReplyDeleteOh great place! It actually looks a little like the covered market in Quimper! ;-)
